To ensure you are prepared for the weekend we have outlined the following important information:

BRING CASH

Most vendors will have EFTPOS however reception may be affected. Ensure you bring cash to avoid any unnecessary disruption to your day. Some vendors or activities including Abbeystowe Archery will be cash only.

No ATMs will be on site.

TIMES

Parking opens at 8am

Gates Open from 9am.

Opening Ceremony at 9.45am in the Moreton Bay Joust Arena

Event closes 4pm

TICKETS

Please have your tickets downloaded or saved to your phone in advance

If you cannot locate your ticket search your inbox for ‘orders@ticketebo’, or email service@ticketebo.com.au. The Abbey Museum office will be unable to assist in locating your tickets. Gate sales are available if you bring a last minute guest.

JOUST TICKETS

Joust tickets are scanned upon entry to the Joust session. Please also have a screenshot of your tickets or ensure they are saved to your phone. If you don’t have tickets to the Joust Spectacular – which includes the Birds of Prey pre-show entertainment, book directly here.

Joust gates open at 1pm Saturday and 10am Sunday.

PARKING

All parking is at 579 Old Toorbul Point Rd, Caboolture. You will be guided to on site parking.

There is NO shuttle service from Caboolture Train Station to the event due to plenty of onsite parking.

 

DISABLED PARKING

Dedicated disabled parking will be available on site at the St Michael’s school car park. Access is via The Abbey Place, heading towards the Museum.

As you near the Museum you will see signage diverting you to the left. It is approximately 250m from the Abbeystowe entrance – this pathway has the same ground surfaces as the rest of our Abbeystowe site and is a combination of grass and gravel.

RECEPTION

Please be aware Phone reception is limited.

RESTRICTED ITEMS

Please be advised bag checks will be conducted upon entry. Strictly NO cameras, glass, alcohol, or weapons or replica weapons. There is no weapons pass for this event, we kindly ask you to please leave any weapon or replicas at home.

ANIMALS

NO Animals allowed on site unless registered service animal. Proof of registration required. 

PROGRAM CHANGES

Please see our program page for notices of any last minute program changes due to illness, withdrawals or otherwise.

WEATHER

This is an all-weather event, please consider sunscreen and stay hydrated. Water stations are marked as a W on the map across the site. Vendors will have cool refreshments available as well. For the safety of patrons please no umbrellas in the grandstands.

Please note, if you have purchased tickets from anywhere other than our authorised ticket sales and your ticket is deemed invalid upon entry, we may not be able to honour entry due to capacity limits.
